Position: Guidance Counselor Essential Responsibilities 1. Give adequate support to students university application process with appropriate counselling programs concerned. 2. Student data collection, updating and analysis 3. Coordination with all school departments to effectively facilitate guidance service 4. Parent consultation including Counselling hotline, online/offline parent information sessions and individual meetings 5. Possible after school duty for UCS counselling related activities 6. Give effective planning advice for students applying Universit ies globally from lower grade onwards to achieve the best possible application results. 7. Give support for college essays on purpose of university application (if 8. Support other Guidance work as needed Qualifications 1. Only considering overseas undergraduate study 2. Bachelor Degree (give priority to those with Master Degree) 3. Over 1 or 2 year of experience in a counselling role at international school or overseas study agency 4. Familiarity with the university application in the context of A Levels, IB/IBDP and AP qualifications or other possible international qualifications
