Job Description:
The RSM is responsible for all sales and marketing activities in assigned territory in order to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. This role involves making sales/marketing strategies, developing/managing customer relationships, managing/supporting the reps. and ensuring the overall success of the sales department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train the sales team (representatives, distributors), setting performance goals and providing guidance.
2.Sales Strategy: Make sales/marketing strategies according to different competitive situation to achieve revenue and improve market share.
3. Product Promotion: Implement effective sales strategies to promote and design in DLCP product, including making presentation, demonstrating product features, preparing proposals, answering customers’ questions etc.
4.Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5.Sales/marketing Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, marketing information, and competitor activities.
6.Sales Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
7.Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in sales or marketing position in electronic components, communication or RF/Microwave industry (RF/Microwave background preferred).
2.Education/working experience: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Communication Engineering or other relevant engineering fields with 5 years working experience. Good understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
3.Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to build and maintain relationships with customers.
4.Negotiation: Ability to negotiate effectively to achieve favorable outcomes.
5.Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market situation and make strategic sales plans to drive growth.
6.Teamwork: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Additional Information:
1.Experience with international sales and multi-cultural teams is a plus.
2. It will be an advantage to have basic understanding of Chinese.
3. Adaptable for frequent business trips if necessary.
