The role involves acting as an interface between the Chinese semiconductor industry and BMW's development teams.

Additionally, the role involves collaborating cross-functionally to assess the feasibility, performance, and automotive-grade reliability of semiconductor solutions, and supporting the seamless integration into BMW's product development lifecycle from concept to series production.
Responsibilities:
● Acting as interface between the Chinese semiconductor industry and BMW development teams.
● Market scouting for new semiconductor technologies and evaluate their purpose for innovative products of the BMW Group together with local development and purchase team.
● Lead the analysis and feedback activities for to-be-released China Chip testing standards (TC-599, TC-114) and determine any influence to BWM relevant ECUs.
● Work with suppliers for national automotive chip standard (Drafting group) status tracking, technical details exchange and open point list checking.
● Work with cross-function teams to define solutions and action plan to deploy the standard.
● Support BMW specialist departments in semiconductor issues from the concept phase to series production readiness with broad focus on intelligent sensors to complex SoCs.
● Keep the focus on aspects relevant to the automotive industry, such as reliability, security, safety, robustness, and derive requirements for new semiconductor technologies.
● Steady alignment and communication with the relevant process partners in China and with BMW Germany.
● Represent the interests of the BMW Group in national and international standardization consortia, as well as in comprehensive research projects.
● Support on the Semi Conductor Trend E/E Architecture scouting activity
● Support status reporting on involved communication topic for internal
