Job Title: Assistant Manager, Revenue Management
Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Manager (Data Analytics Specialization) for UBR hotel revenue management team. This position requires solid data mining and analysis capabilities, and the ability to build business trend predictions through data modeling techniques. The ideal candidate should also possess data-driven decision-making experience, excel at transforming complex data into actionable business insights, and provide scientific business decision support to the hotel revenue management team.
This role requires in-depth collaboration with other teams of the Strategic and Data Science teams to ensure timely access to complete and accurate business source data, and to promote effective execution of data requirement plans. Additionally, the candidate should be capable of efficiently coordinating with other relevant business departments to drive consensus and secure their critical support for hotel business decisions.
Major Responsibilities
Leverage multivariate statistical methods to develop integrated forecasting models for hotel room revenue and breakfast revenue, accurately predicting revenue trends and identifying market trend changes to provide data-driven support for business and operational decisions, while establishing a predictive forecast performance evaluation mechanism for closed-loop optimization.
Systematically apply statistical and machine learning approaches to support the development of weekly/monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for hotel room and breakfast revenue.
Conduct in-depth data mining and advanced analytics on historical data to extract actionable business insights. Transform complex datasets into strategic recommendations to assist team leader in making pricing, inventory, and product decisions that maximize hotel revenue, occupancy rates, and ADR performance.
Design and implement data-driven tests (e.g., price sensitivity analyses, product preference studies) to optimize hotel pricing and product design.
